I want to buy a good one, that will last a long time be as future proof as possible.
It has to go to a resolution of at least 2048 x 1536, it has to have a dot pitch of 0.22 or better, I want a sharp contrast between light and dark, and vibrant color, just everything high quality and with gaming in mind.
I dont know the cost of that type of specs so I cant give a budget, but nothing over 300 pounds, I know I can get those kinda specs on a CRT monitor for about 50 pounds so if its gonna cost more than 300 im gonna stick to a 2nd hand CRT monitor.

I am self planning on buying it. It has 144hz refresh rate(so supports 3d gaming), 1ms response time, intergrated speakers, 1080p, 24'....
And you have some money left afterwards.
+1; this monitor is GOAT for the price.
are u guys trying to sell stuff or something, how can that be GOAT for the price? ive seen much better deals MUCH!
You asked! We are just trying to help. What better deals have you seen? Have you seen a deal below 300$ for something with the same specs as this one? Then let me please see.

Whats about the 1ms reaction time? 144hz refresh rate(3d supportable)? Those are the main great specs of it and also the reason why it is so expensive. All that is missing in the link you gave me. I know that the response time doesn't make a such big difference. But the 144hz does a hell of a good job. Most monitors including the linked ones have around 60hz. So all your fps above that isn't even see able. If you in in 3d gaming you will neither come very far with 60hz.
So for its specs the monitorI suggested has a fairly good price point.

Why would you want a 4:3 display? For gaming you should be buying a 16:9 1080p display. You can very easily get a display like this within your budget. Look at BenQ and LG monitors, anything from them will be great. LG IPS displays are probably the best available right now.
