Remote page up/down control
I would like to make my computer reading more comfortable as it is pretty much the best source of info we have these days for modern things. Having to hit the keyboard frequently just to page down is silly. What we need is the ability to make a generic mouse able to do that. It can be wireless or wired, and by clicking the left or right button it will prompt page down/page up. I use a trackball that I can't move away from the desk because of my weird setup but I was wondering if it should be possible to do this somehow with another mouse as they are basically free when bought used. And what software driver could differentiate between the two pointing devices.

Is there a problem with using the scroll wheel?

Under mouse properties you can set how many lines you want it to scroll or even an entire page.
