After Market Cooling For 460 GTX - Advice Needed
I currently have a GeForce 460 GTX and don't really have the funds currently to upgrade, but I thought I could replace the stock heatsync and fan with an after market one for overclocking. I've had a look around and not really found any heatsyncs that didn't have someone saying they had problems with it.

Has anyone here done what I'm thinking of doing with the 460 GTX - or a similar card - that could recommend me something please?

Thanks,
Dean.

You probably have an MSI Cyclone one, Don't you?

I must have a different version of the 460 gtx, my core clock at stock is 725.

Thanks for the link and info, I'll have a look around and see.

That might give you some estimates of what to expect as far as overclocks go. No matter what product that exists out there, someone will have a complaint about it somewhere along the line. I would just find one that reputable websites have tested and that found quality results with such. Worst case scenario, You could return it.

Do you have the 768MB or the 1GB version of the card?
