I just built my first gaming PC. Need Help.
I have installed all the new drivers and updates. Windows is updated and working fine. I also installed War Thunder through Steam. Now when I launch War Thunder, the screen turns black for a half second and then I'm back to the desktop. War Thunder is in my bottom tab and I can hear its game sound. But all I can see is my desktop. I can still open applications and what not. Is my GPU fried? Need help I am wondering if its a hardware issure.

I would think that it is more of a software issue than a hardware issue if you have corrupted files.

I can assure you right now that your GPU isn't fried. If your GPU was dead then your computer wouldn't display anything at all. The cause of your problem is going to be software related. Do as TStahler said and reinstall the game or since you have it installed through steam try checking the 'integrity of the cache files'.

Yes I have installed the game twice now. Same thing happened before, just sound. When I did a file check, War Thunder said that 516 files we corrupted or missing. RE-INSTALL AGAIN?? I did one DL through War Thunder website and the other DL through Steam. Any Ideas!?!?!?
