Radeon HD 7770 vs Geforce GTX 980
Hai, I have GA 990fxa ud5 motherboard running with windows 8.1 and 2 sapphire readon hd 7770 over clock, gigahertz edition graphic cards cross fired for my games to play. Would there be any difference if i change it to single nvidia geforce gtx 980 graphic card. Please give in detail what could be the difference between 2 0f 7770 and 1 of gtx 980?

Thanks in advance

Only one game benchmark has been ran at the same settings, but it should give you an idea of the performance difference:

GRID 2 - 1920x1080 - Maximum Quality + 4x MSAA

7770: 35.8 FPS
GTX 980: 141.1 FPS

4x the performance, very roughly.

A 980 is 6% faster then a 780 ti.

Your statement isn't a correction towards me or relevant to the OP's question when comparing 980GTX to a 7770HD. It doesn't make my statement about a 980GTX having the same power as a 780ti wrong. 5-10 frames difference is pretty much the same power considering that can be achieved by overclocking.

Remember; games such as WatchDogs get better performance if you have a good CPU (such as a Haswell i7); no matter how good the graphics card.
Some modern games even ask over 8Gb of RAM on board.
Just aim for a balanced system.
