Can someone help me find a New laptop
I have had the same toshiba laptop since 2009 and it has finally started to give out. I have been wanting a new laptop for a long time since mine can't do everything I need it too (I have to push it's limits a lot) and now I finally have the money for a new one. I am looking for a 14 or 15inch, no more than 5.5lb, optical drive, 3 usb ports, vga port, hdmi port, must be able to play dragon age and skyrim. I will mainly be using it for surfing the web, downloads, movies, and light gaming. My budget is $500. I am willing to buy a used or refurbished laptop. I liked the lenovo g505s but I heard people have a lot of problems mainly with heat managment. I most importantly need a laptop that will last me another 5ish years.

That's not a bad deal indeed, I'd recommended that too, and it's worth the extra money over your budget anyways. The ULV CPU is going to be a bit of a letdown, but at 720p it'll be barely noticeable.

IMO, Dragon age episodes up to origins will play nicely at medium settings, with the older ones maybe high, and with the right config and no graphically heavy mods, Skyrim is going to play nicely too.
Inquisition may be a tough customer, if you're looking at playing it tho...

If things didn't change too much in time in their producing process, I can also confirm the lifetime of the laptop. I still have an old Acer Aspire (can't recall the model) with an Intel T4400 and an ATI HD 4570m running healthy, although no gaming is done there lately :D  it's about 5 years old.

I would second Richard Ricardo's laptop. My only worry is dragon age as it may struggle to play the latest version.
