What all connectors do i need from a power supply
I'm taking the risk of buying a 500W power supply from ebay to replcae my 300w for my basic gaming PC build(cause the graphics card that i will have is too high for my power supply) and i was looking at the description of it and says:

Connectors:

One (1) 14-inch 20+4-pin ATX power connector

One (1) 4-pin CPU power connector

Two (2) SATA power connectors

Two (2) large Molex 4-pin power connectors

One (1) 4-pin Floppy power connector

Is this everything i need for my PC? Cause i know that i need a 6 Pin PCI-E connector but dont see that on the list. Or does 6 pin PCI-E have another name? Just need someone to tell me what Connectors i really need to get everyting running smoothly?

Here is the page of the item. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Black-Hercules-micro-ATX-500W-S...

And the graphics card ill be using is a Gigabyte Radeon r9 270 which doesnt come with anything else. just the card.

Just dont use that Hercules power supply...

Low quality psu kills components faster than anything else.

I also notice the Hercules looks alot bigger than the corsair. Its it most likely the hercules wont fit in the new cases now adays?

I used it on my OG 7850 on an fx platform..

But if you can push your budget then get an xfx 550watt

Sorry, let me rephrase that..

Pci-e power connectors are standard for graphics cards, if it only has molex then its probably an old psu.

A corsair vs450 is good, if your really in a tight budget

Thats only 450w

besides of it being old, the graphics card requires a minimum of 500w. so i just need to get myself a PCI-E in addtion to this power supply? and is this power supply still not enough? all i want to do is play some games. I mean come on :/  I dont need anything special. Im not looking for the best of the best. Only what i need

All power supplies still come with molex connectors, they are used to power random peripherals like fans and pumps, they aren't dead yet.

The clue its an old design is the red switch on the back, any decent PSU has had Active PFC since before 2008.

OP - steer clear of that PSU, its really old, and has a 1 year warranty for a reason. Where are you able to buy from? There are definitely better options out there, if you step it up to ~$50 you can get one that will last 5-10 years instead of 5-10 months.

It doesn't even have an 8pin/4+4pin ATX connector. Its very old.

What is your budget? As above the CX series isn't great, but it will get the job done on the cheap.
