Hello, all!
I was having an issue with my GPU a week ago. The fans spun and it was obviously getting power to it, but it wouldn't even show the boot screen. I plugged in a VGA into the built-in graphics and that works perfectly fine.
I was told that the GPU was bad, so I went to buy a new one. I installed that, but no change. The fans spin but PC doesn't detect it. Tried the drivers for the card but I get a message saying that there is no device compatible with the drivers I'm trying to install.
I continued to look and found that someone had the same issue and it went away once they replaced their PSU. I did this as well, but no change. Fans still spin (old AND new GPU), but still not detected.
I've noticed that when I turn my computer on, the fans will light up and everything is running, but the start-up screen doesn't show up for about 30 seconds. After that, the computer beeps and the screen pops up.
Any and all comments would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Hello, everyone!Just wanted to follow up and let you guys know that I fixed the issue.
I replaced my motherboard and everything went perfectly... Until I had to reinstall Windows
But like smeez said, my PCI slot died. Seems like my old PSU was damaging it as time went by.
Thank you all for your responses!
That's good news man!

Any chance you could test the GPUs in another machine? Its possible your PCI-E slot diedUnfortunately, I don't have that option. It's honestly the only thing I can think of that I haven't already tried. I'm going to go and get a motherboard tomorrow to replace this one. It's the only thing that I haven't already replaced...
Thanks
Do you happen to have money just laying around in your house? Damn dude lol.
I wish that I could say yes to this. XD
Since I diagnosed everything in the PC, my last option is to try a new MOBO. I'll return my GPU and get the MOBO. If that doesn't work, I'll just take everything back x_x
Thank God for return policies!!
