So here we go. I am going to build a machine and its down to 2 choices ladies & gentlemen,
what is better and why? Im going for heavy gaming not rendering or anything.

Well, the Intel may get a few more frames per second in benchmarks, but I love my 8350. The only place i5s really beat the 8xxx series is in benchmarks, and in my opinion real world is more accurate. However, once you get to the $300 range, Intel definitely takes the cake.
CPUs aside, that PSU is overkill, and you could get a 970 or so and stay pretty close to your budget.
