Help Spray Painting PC Case ^_^
Hey guys. I am ordering a Case tomorrow and I plan on spray painting some of it blue to give it a nice color scheme to match with my mostly blue components that will be inside. Is this a bad idea? And can anyone give me any tips or tricks?

This is the case http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... I have a week to spray it and finish with nice stickers or something else flashy! Any recommended stickers or something I can put on it?

Thanks

You might struggle painting the plastic. You will have to sand it and wipe all the dust off so the paint sticks. Dont sand the paint off just roughen it up

You will need to remove all the panels you can from the actual chassis. You will want to tape off the parts that slide into place or have fitting parts - paint will make it thicker, and the parts won't fit back together. Also - be careful around the ventilation holes - paint will clog them up easily....

You will want to scuff up the paint on the existing case with sandpaper to make sure the new paint adheres properly.

For the best results - I would tape off an area to paint that doesn't have ventilation exposed or has parts that would connect to another part....kind of like accent striping.
