Stuck in Starting windows after putting video card on motherboard but i can hear the log in sound
I have GT 630 2gb ddr3 i put it in my motherboard and put the VGA adaptor on it, but it seems i get stuck at starting windows but i can hear the log in sound, but all i can see is *starting windows* i tried booting in safe mode but it still the same. my mother board is ms-72167 945GM5 with pentium D processor and 2 gb of ram ddr2, 600W PSU

im not sure which model of the gt 630 you have, but also make sure it doesn't require a 6-pin power connector. If it does, make sure you have the appropriate cable running from your psu into the 6-pin plug on the video card

try disabling onboard video in bios. make sure you plug your monitor into the gpu's display adapter and not the onboard port. Also, I doubt this is it, because usually your screen would freeze at the post cycle, but you could try upgrading your motherboard bios.
