A 500w psu would be enough for a FX-8320 and a R9 280X?
Hi there!
I currently have a Corsair CX-500M 80+. I plan on upgrading my rig to a AMD FX-8320, 8GBs of RAM and a Gigabyte R9 280X OC. I do not plan on overclocking. So is the 500W psu enough for this setup?
Thanks for the replirs in advance!

Ah crap. I just bought it one month ago :(  . Can you guys recommend a fairly cheap 600W? Thanks!

Soha ne spórolj a tápon, soha. (Never go for a cheap PSU, never; for those who cant speak glorious hungarian)

Na ezt hogyan? Honnan tudtad, hogy magyar vagyok? (Edit: rájöttem) :D  ("Wtf? How did you know that I'm hungarian? (Edit: figured it)")
Is the Gigabyte Superb 620W worth it and is good for my config?

Don't. Just use one PSU. Are you crazy?

They are at the same price as the EVGA in Hungary. I know its a dumb idea but what if I run my system with the cx500 and put another 500w psu (I have another HKC) and with the that I only run the gpu? Is this possible? And if not why not? :D

Please, avoid CX, the PSU uses cheap caps which fail on high loads, CX600 is no better. Try for Antec VP550P.

Thanks, they are reall out of my price range (or at least here in Hungary). However I could afford a CX-600, will that be enough?
