27inch or Larger Monitor
Hey Guys
I am looking to buy a monitor that is 27inch or more to replace my current 24inch Asus. I would a resolution of 2560x1440 preferably IPS with a decent response time for gaming and would like it to be under $600 Australian Dollars. I have looked at several 29 inch monitors however these are more than 2 years old and so i worry. I am also sizing up the Asus pb278q. Any suggestions Would be greatly appreciated.

Yep. Asus make great stuff. Monitors that were introduced a few years ago are still state of the art. IPS - 5ms GTG is still the norm.

That means you never buy a monitor.

So you would then still recommend the pb278q

Ask them for a new one. Not a 2 year old second hand one.

No the actual monitor has been out since 2012 and so perhaps it is due for a refresh so i dont buy an monitor before a new one comes out.
