Amd or Intel Cpu for new gaming system
I want to upgrade my system (Motherbord, Cpu, Videocard).
But I don`t know wat kind of system is the best to choose for the long run with my budget.

I must choose:
1. A Amd Cpu (AMD 6350 unlocked) with a R9 290x or Gtx 970 videocard
OR
2. A Intel Cpu (i5-4670K)with a R9 280x or Gtx 770, Gtx 960 (when it comes out)

Witch system shall I choose and witch is best for me in the future.
My pc is ONLY build for gaming......The rest is not importent.

Thanks for helping :)

You can also get a locked intel cpu like the i5 4590, it will perform better than the 6350, so you can afford a GTX 970, and for the fx 9590, you'll also need a liquid cooler and a good motherboard, that kinda takes away all the budget charm of fx cpus.

It`s gonna be a Amd FX 9590 Cpu and a Gtx 970 Gpu :)
With this setup I have a great system.
My pc is only build for Gaming so a Amd Cpu is fast enough and combined with a Gtx 970 I can play every game on High settings.

How about taking the best bits from each build instead; get yourself a 4670K and a GTX 970? That will near-enough demolish any game you throw at it, providing you give it a good amount of fast RAM.

It may be more expensive, but I doubt you'll regret it.

Only gaming = Intel.

As for the GPU make sure card is having more than 2GB Vram.
