Cooler Master Elite 311 with Corsair CX 500 placement
I just got a Cooler Master Elite 311 and a Corsair CX 500 but I am unable to figure out which direction the CX500 fan vent points to - Sorry if this is a newb question, but this is my first bottom mounted PSU rig.

If you look at the CM-Elite311 picture you will see a small vent at the bottom under the PSU area. The CX500 has a rather large fan, but only on one side - I am unable to figure out if the fan points upwards or downwards.

Also depending upon my PSU placement, what should be my airflow?

A. Rear-Out, Front-In, Side-In
B. Rear-Out, Front-In, Side-Out

Power supply fans mounted in that fashion are always intake. Your supply should be installed with the fan facing down so that it intakes and exhausts without interfering with the internal components.

Only caveat to that is if your computer will sit on carpet. Then you should flip it over. Not ideal, but better then carpet fuzz.

Ok. That makes sense. I don't intend to place it on a carpet, but the small bottom hole does worry me a bit.
