Hi!
I'm working on my current 3 monitor setup, and I'm a little confused about how i should plug my monitors into my graphics cards?
The 2x 980's i will buy would either be:
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00NQ86IRW/?tag=pcpapi-20
or
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00O4S9NY8/ref=as_li_q...
Please comment about which one you think is the best for the job
My other specs are
I7 Quad Core 4790K 4,8GHz
MSI Z97 Gaming motherboard (SLI Ready)
CRUCIAL DDR3-1600 DIMM 2x8 RAM (16GB)
(Im getting a 850W Gold Certified 80+ Tier 1 PSU for my new setup)
240GB SSD and 1TB Harddisk
Razer Deathstalker Ultimate Keyboard
Razer Deathadder Mouse (New Version)
Raser 7.1 Tiamat Headset
So back to the title, about plugging my monitors into the graphics cards, please tell me where i should plug the monitors in.
This are my monitor I'm going with (both links are the same one, check both out):
http://www.asus.com/dk/Monitors_Projectors/VE278H/
http://www.amazon.com/VE278H-27inch-Screen-LED-lit-Moni...
If you take a look at my graphics cards and monitors, where do i plug the monitors in? What cable holes, DVI HDMI etc? Do i need some sort of transforming cable? Do i plug every monitor into the 1st graphics card? What do i have to do?
IF YOU NEED MORE INFO ASK ME IN THE COMMENTS! I'll be very glad to answer
.
PLEASE TELL ME EVERYTHING I NEED TO KEEP IN MIND!
Thanks VERY much for helping

Haven't checked the 980's yet. But in case of 970 the Zotac Extreme gives 5-10 more fps in games than the STRIX.Hi!
Thanks for your answer!
I'm looking to run 3 monitors, and i think the 5-10 FPS dosen't do much on 5760x1080, I'd rather go with endurance
.But thanks VERY much for your answer though.

Get the ASUS STRIX GTX 980's. Far better cooler and they're quieter than the Zotac card.Get a Gigabyte/ASUS Z97 board.I know some people that have had MSI boards and problems with them.
Get a Crucial MX100 256GB SSD.It's probably the same price as the 240GB SSD,but you get 16GB of space, which is enough for your OS+extra 4-5GB.
Save a bit on the keyboard and get the Expert version.
The monitor looks good.
