GTX 660: Drivers not respoding and crashing PC?
Hey
I have added my "GTX 660" from my old computer onto my new build:
"gigabyte gaming 5 z97
gtx 660
intel core i7 4970k
hdd and ssd
evga 850w +80 gold certified
"

When I play a game such as assetto corsa, it can be from 1 minute or sometimes 30 minutes where it suddenly freeze, i start to hear strange sounds from my monitor (like fuzzy strange static sounds) and then sometimes i am forced to restart my PC, sometimes i can ctrl alt and del it and close the process.

I have literally tried every single possible fix, such as evga power management, internet explorer fied, im also using windows 8.1 so idk if if use windows 7 it might fix it, ive tried registry fix, memory clock etc fixed (-100 or lower < didn't work) running cc cleaner, turning off anti virus as when this happens i get (Application has been blocked from accessing graphics hardware) ive tried memtest for ram, nothing had popped up, ive scanned hdd < nothing again,

i dont know if its my gpu or something else? Should I try updating my BIOS somebody had said to me or some how adding more power?

is there something i can do IN order for one of you to help solve my problem? like by giving you specific logs etc so we can get down to this?. It's really getting me down as my pc was working fine before i installed this graphics card, and im not sure what is causing it as i only happens when i play games.

is somebody on this forum able to seriously help me solve this continuous problem :(  :??:

Others have said try updating bios but im scared, and also to try another pci-e slot?
