Hello im am a pretty serious gamer and was wondering if it would be worth it to overclock my PC. I have a NVIDA EVGA 770 http://www.microcenter.com/product/415537/GeForce_GTX_7... Heres the link to my Graphics card.

You do not want the processor to run over 75C at full load for long. This could cause damage if it is running there for long periods of time. The best advice I can give you for overclocking is to read the overclocking guide here on Tom's.Alright thanks right now my cpu at hasnt reached over like 55C

Well you should be able to get quite a nice overclock as long as you watch the temperatures you are seeing at load. I would say a 1G overclock should be pretty easy, so 4.4G should be able to be reached pretty safe.Alright im new to the whole overclocking thing. I know the basics of it but im not 100% sure how i would do it though would you be able to help me out through that or give me some advice? and what should my temps be at now do u think?
