gpu very got
i have a gtx 770 evga sc reference, h105 cooler, i7 4930k, cosmos 2 case and rampage 4 black edition, i was playing cs go and checking the gpu temp on msi afterburner and it reached 94 degrees...wtf....firstly it was only for like 5 minuites as i realised i needed to turn gpu fan up to 70, which i do which cools it to around 60degrees. But is that heat damaging to the gpu life, or other parts. and is this normal, 95 degress while palying cs go..? thanks

don't worry it didn't do any damage.Just don't let it rise to that temp while playing games day by day.

yea ta mate, i have done it everytime, just this once, it was only for a couple of minutes but i just dont want to break anything, especially as this rig cost so much. i put it on 70% fan speed and it keeps the temp @60degrees.
keeping your fan at 70 wont break anything dont worry man,if the noise levels at 70 are ok for you then rock on.as long as it keeps those temps low.

I agree. Adjust the fan curve and that should put your temp in a reasonable range

MSI AB is the best tool. Just don't forget to have it run at windows boot or start it before starting any games

What is wrong with him putting fan speed at 70 % before gaming ?

if he sets his fan curve profile he would'nt have to.just set it to run at 70 when the temps hit like 80 and afterbuner will do it automatically.

well the only thing u can do is to lower the clock speed with msi or try to do a bios refresh fix.Make sure u have a good air flow inside the pc(make sure a fan is getting the hot air out from the machine, remove the side panels)
