Switching hdd of laptops
i was wondering is it possible to switch the hdd between to laptops?
or will i lose all my data?

or is it the same principle as micro sd and usb adapters?

Depends on what is on it.

If a secondary drive, with 'just data' on it, no problem.
If it is the boot drive with Windows on it, problem.

It's not the same as Micro SD cards whatsoever.

If you switch the HDDs the computer either will not boot or will ask you to reactivate since Windows will detect it's on a new system.
