Will my amd fx 8320 be enough for the new games?
With some of the more demanding games coming out in the next few years i was wondering if my processor will be able to handle them with a gtx 970 graphics card. The cpu runs at 3.5ghz but can be oc at 4.0 ghz.

Yeah, in most cases you'll be fine, especially if you have good cooling and a moderate overclock.

In well threaded games like BF3, BF4 and Crysis 3 Intel and AMD are almost dead even. Within 2-4 FPS of each other.

In older games or ones that only use 2-4 cores, maybe 6-10 FPS. But this is usually still very high and well above the playable range.

Ok cool. So no worries then.

It will handle them but it will be a few frames behind a Intel.
