I recently bought a Radeon r7 260X but when I installed it my bios wasn't compatible. I looked about flashing it but there were no updates for my model. I need a new motherboard but don't know whether it will be compatible with my other hardware. please help.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...Pretty good deal on this one.
The Bolton d4 are the best models.
thanks that's really good but also how hard will it be to remove my cpu from the old motherboard and add it to the new one
It is not the hardest thing ever, just watch some youtube videos on installing cpu coolers/thermal paste.

Do you have a friends pc you can test the r7 out in?no, not really, my friend that games owns a laptop. when I took the card out and put my old one back in my bios said it detected incompatible hardware. I looked on line and it said I needed to update my bios, which is impossible for me.
this is why I was looing for recommended new mobo.
My cpu is a Processor AMD Athlon(tm) X4 750K Quad Core Processor, 4000 Mhz, 2 Core(s), 4 Logical Processor(s) that uses a FM2 socket

http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=...yeah it is backwards compatible.
double check you have the newest bios and the discrete graphics disabled.
the newest update (f7c) only works on 16bit, (basically it refuses to run, even in compatibility mode) and I have version f6, I also already have a graphics card that is not a discrete one (HD6450 2gb) which is the reason I'm upgrading.
