24 pin atx connector not able to fully plug in
I'm currently building a computer. It has all gone smoothly, and now I am plugging in cables. The only issue is, my 24 pin atx connector won't fully go in, and I can't identify the issue. It isn't flush with the socket, and is a couple of millimeters off of it. Here is a picture of it http://. I am using the MSi Z97 G45 motherboard, and the rosewill hive 850w 80 plus bronze power supply. I've tried pushing the connector in incredibly hard and hurt my own fingers, but I still can't get it to go in. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It appears to be the motherboard. I've tried multiple atx power connectors and none lock in.
