Need some suggestions
SO I am still getting poor frame rates on shogun total war(napoleon and empire I get a solid 60FPS) with my very high end GPU and I realize I am getting a slight bottle neck because of my AMD A10 7600 3.5ghz processor however a local tech told me to check to look for a patch that can improve my FPS since shogun total war is the only game I am getting poor frame rates. Does anyone know where to find a patch like this? Or does steam just automatically update the games in my library with the most recently released patches?
Also can anyone recommend a site I can go or download to test my internet connection speed. He also said I could be getting poor frame rates because of my internet connection.

So your internet is good. Are these 970 temps or CPU temps?

Are you running from the gtx970 or from the A10 6700?

According to pingtest.com I am getting a download speed on my internet of 29.63 Mbps and upload speed of 6.03 Mbps. I ran Valley Benchmarks and with everything on ultra I was getting an average of 59.2 fps with an average temp of 70 C, with 2x AA I was getting 58.4 fps with a average temp of 78.2 degrees C!

So -
AMD A10 6700 quad core 3.5 ghz
mother board that only supports the A10 and A8 CPU
8gb of RAM
ASUS GTX 970
Corsair 750 watt power supply

What results did you get from SpeedTest?

yeah, every time a game is updated from the devs it gets a version number and when you launch the game it checks your version is the latest.
