I just wanted to know if there are any hardware gurus here who might be able to identify the issue here.
No, it's not a software issue. Before taking the photo I made both monitors identical. Both with their own buttons as well as from within the GPU settings.
I got the monitor on the left originally and never thought anything of the issue because I had no frame of reference. The problem became glaringly obvious when I acquired the monitor on the right. They are both the same exact model.
I even opened up the monitor on the left as much as I could. Figured maybe something was loose or broken. Nothing. Short of opening a metal case inside, which I assume contains the liquid crystal.
If anyone can identify the problem, would it be an easy/cheap fix? For reference, each monitor cost me 190 bucks.
Oh! They are Samsung SyncMasters 2233. All it says is 2233 on the bevel/frame/black part on the top-left corner. I think they're 21.5" I got them years ago. with a gap of like 2-3 years between each one.
