It's my first time building a rig (also first time with windows), and I'm having trouble deciding between two graphics cards:
Radeon R7 260X
and
GeForce GTX 750
I'm looking to game/stream/edit videos and music, and I'm wondering which one is better. Also, if there is a site that I can directly compare their features (I've been having a lot of trouble finding one), I'd appreciate a link. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/JTGNBm is an example of what I'm thinking for my rig. Any advice (general or specific) on that would be appreciated as well. Thanks.

I still stand my ground that 4GB RAM is sufficient if you are not doing some extreme multitasking. If you are going to play a game surely you don't need to have a browser with 150+Tabs open, stream, compile, upload, download, run 2 becnhmarks in the background etc. It just doesn't make sense.True, but I do plan to multi-task quite a bit (obviously not to that extent ;-P). If you think 4 RAM and a more expensive GPU is better, feel free to link a GPU (and preferably RAM as well) that is under $200 (combined) that will perform better. I appreciate the response, and I'd like to thank everyone for taking the time. :-)
http://pcpartpicker.com/p/9sHsvK for rig so far.

Alright, think I'll go with 4GBx2 of RAM, and get a cheaper GPU. (Updated: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/9sHsvK ). It looks like now my choice for GPU is between:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...
and
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...
or comparable GPUs. Since I'm looking for something that can game/video and music edit/stream, is one of those better for more than just gaming? Also, any advice on comparable GPUs (not looking to go over $120 at this point) would be much appreciated. Also, cause I'm probably going to have to overclock, would the GTX 750Ti be better or is that irrelevant? Again, any general/specific advice on the GPU and overall rig is welcome. Thank you all for your patience, this has been very helpful. :-)

I guess it depends if I can downgrade the RAM without noticeable performance issues. Although, I would prefer a newer GPU, I'm kinda uncomfortable about getting a refurbished or older card as I feel too inexperienced to make the most of one. Thanks all.I may have pasted the wrong links:

Both are brand new 270X's with similar price to the 270 you linked.

You've all been very helpful so far. I do have another question, though. If I lower the RAM to 4GB I could get a http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...would this cause any noticeable issues, or would the GeForce GTX 750 Ti be better with 8GB RAM? Also, would 4GB RAM be much of a downgrade with the GeForce GTX 750 Ti ? (looking to save a little money).
Getting 4GB RAM won't decrease gaming performance in the meaning of FPS decrease. 4GB is still enough for gaming and you could start to struggle if you have other resource hungry programs open while playing a game at the same time. I only upgraded to 8GB a few months ago and only because I had a chance to do it for cheap.
Also you can always add more RAM later if you need it for much less than you can upgrade a GPU. (RAM upgrade could be a bit tricky as it's always recommended to get a matched pair but I'm sure you'll be able to find the same like yours even a couple of years from now).
So tl;dr - get the better GPU and don't worry about the RAM imo.

What about http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... - big $ savings vs 270 and slightly lower performance.Or this 270x http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... for less $ than the 270 you linked

The last article posted on tomshardware is... best GPU's for the money.
Perhaps that would help.
http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/gaming-graphics-car... (I prefer this page as it lists new vs older cards in tiers so you can easily compare what you have now to the proposed new cards and see if it is worth it, or if a used XXX at the same $ can do even better)
