Sad to see Rob and Ben's reviews leaving. I held their reviews in as much steed as zero punctuation's honest reviews.

I will have to find somewhere else for honest, strait up, impartial reviews.

I'd like to echo the sentiments flying around this thread, I'm going to miss everyone at Tom's Games and especially the Second Take segments. I too dug the straightforward, honest, and impartial discussions of games and various games-related issues. I'll miss you guys. On a side note, it seems a shame to lose the back catalog of Second Take videos, are there any plans to make the Second Take episodes available for download? I'd love to see some video podcast style Ben and Rob videos, if it's not possible I understand, but It'd be great to have at least those preexisting episodes as a reminder of the awesomeness of Second Take.

In any event I'd just like to say thanks again to everyone at Tom's Games that made the site worthwhile. Wherever you guys end up, you're fans will be sure to find you. Best of luck to all of you. Cheers~!

Very sad to see this happen. I didn't buy many games this past year, but the ones I did buy were recommended in reviews I saw on this site.

Also looks like I'll be able to remove tomshareware from my bookmarks list. No need to go to a site that doesn't have anything for me any more.

This is just sad. Takeing away what i always was waiteing for on fridays. The reviews, and all the fun talk between ben and rob. I realy hope that you will create a new site where you have the control. I just have no reason now to visit THG.com any more

Second Take was my favorite. Whoever is making the business decisions for Tom's has certainly taken the site in a different direction, and I for one have no reason left to visit.

Best of luck to Ben, Rob, and Travis! You guys are great at what you do. I look forward to seeing you again soon.

aaaaaarrrrrrrrggghhhhh! Oh the pain! I loved those Second Take Videos. As a very long time PC gamer, I appreciated Rob's and Ben's views and reviews. I hope to see you guys on your new site soon!

Ehh.. am I slow or what? Took over a month to realize why tom's doesn't seem to have half the new content as before. Flash games? Buahahaa! I'm sure Tom's Hardware has just the target audience.

This is just a small update to let everyone know that we are all still alive and still collecting email addresses. So this isn’t a black hole address. I’m reading every email.

Things are percolating on a new game site, although it will be small and privately driven. Perhaps that’s for the best.

Yeah, go visit Ben and Rob at sportcast3000. I still can't believe toms got rid of second take and toms games for flash crap. Oh well. I still come for the forums, but even that is fading away. I find myself reading more artiles on hexus or legion

Something tells me that Chris Angelini had something to do with these guys getting canned.
