seeing as humans to the best of my knowledge don't know of any alien species i can only assume so seeing as it is a very common thing here among mammals at least here on earth.

in what regards does it have a point? a inanimate object can not have a point to it nor can the shape of a blunt object by definition have a point so not to put too fine a point on it, what is your point.
