Analysts - I never said i was one, just that I like to analyze things - are leaning less on intel now because they are the 800 lb gorilla. Once it is shown how much their actions (cancellations, etc) save them money AMD may hit $40 again this year.
Here is the link from the Register unless theyare propagandist liars also. Notice the date and then the downturn of INTC.
Is this all coming out of you "analyzing things"? Intel's decision on cutting the prices had many advantages: getting rid of inventory, gaining market share and slowing down the AMD's sales. AMD's stock is falling like a rock, that's no secret.
they had to have it working prior to Mar 16 and Apple released Boot Camp in Apr.
lolz..
Jack listed a dozen of examples, and you believe you owned him when you could only counter one of them.
i've watched the entire thread, and you certainly had changed your position numerous times.

Don't know about Core 2 but I have only seen one time the inq was wrong and that was when they said AMD wouldn't go with Dell. Every story posted from there ends up on Anand and other places.

Some of the slower amongst us don't know what the term "take it with a grain of salt" means.
if you claim that the only once Inq was wrong, and continuously posted numerous threads using Inq as back up, then why do you change your position to "i only take Inq with a grain of salt?"
apparently BM's logic is slightly different from all of us.
I personally think that they've got way more hit than strike. My only problem with theInquirer is that they are so eager to post that they don't take time to conterverify any informations they've got. I feel this is what make them say that "1 stupidity a day". But overall, it's not so bad for a 20+ "news" a day site.
Plus, that article about AMD having to wake-up before Intel come up "with P5 or whatever it's called arrive" doesn't sound to erronous to me if Core2Duo is has good has it looks now.
They're usually the first one I read in the morning to see what is gonna pop-up on the other site.

I guess I haven't been droppe on my head. I have never said I believe them just that they posted it. Conjecture makes for good discussion except with people who only want to argue or prove others wrong.
I'm not emotional. I'm the analyst who had no choice but to drop both companies' ratings.
You must be really bored. Did you read the whole post? Sounds kinda sarcastic to me. Must be that childhood injury you suffered to the cranium that makes you see that as an admission of my job. Besides, according to your idiot buddies I DON'T HAVE A JOB.
People, TAKE A BREAK ! the Inquierer, as somebody alse tried to say is more of a journalist site, they either give news as 1facts(it happened today), 2personal speculation(i think it may happen) or 3from an outside source(whater its secret or not).
Tom's on the other hand is a COMPUTER ANTUSIASTS site, they give a lot of number 1 and a lot of internal benchmarks and tests, thats why they dont make A LOT of mistakes, they don't speculate very much.
If you read a couple of celebrity gossip articles youl notice that most of it is speculation or just to lame to be true, thats what the Inq. behaviour is.
Of course they May speculate right and also give facts sometimes so do not treat them so bad, take theyre news for what it is.
P.S. i never read theyre stories unles somebody alse points to them, so this is just my 2 cents on e-journalism.
And PLEASE dont judge my english, i'm dealing with about 8O 5 other languages right now so its a hard time :x !

You said u were an analyst. You also said you "dropped" the companies' ratings. How can that statement be taken as anything else other than you saying you're a financial analyst?
And just so the rest of this forum knows that's not being taken out of context, here's the entire post:

I'm not emotional. I'm the analyst who had no choice but to drop both companies' ratings. When you have a monopoly, which Intel had at the time of AMD64, there are certain things you can't do. The lawsuit managed to get a lot of companies - seemingly - to go with AMD regardless, such as SuperMicro, ServerWorks, and now even Dell.
If I were in Intel's position I would tring to unfiy certain aspects of CPUs, since IBM wanted two sources of chips and AMD INVENTED AMD64 which is now becoming the defacto standard for ALL MS Server products.
MAybe you should just take your Conroe and make love to it.
BTW, that last statement was soooooo mature. Especially coming from someone who was "forced to drop the financial ratings of AMD and Intel."
LOL.
Your lies are catching up with you Baron. Oh... how's that blue badge coming along?

Only an a-hole with a mugshot for a sig would take that post and say I meant I AM ACTUALLY AN ANALYST. If I remeber correctly that post was in response to an idiot.....
When I respond to idiots it is usually sarcastically to make fun of their OBVIOUS LACK of knowledge on anything OTHER THAN being annoying.
Just for that I'm going to post a pic of it (my blue badge). Afterwards, i want you to F off, OK?
No you'll probably say that I faked it with PhotoShop.

I look forward to seeing your blue badge then. And if I believe it is real, I will apologize for my constant insults upon you and treat you with respect.
But until then... you're still a jackass and a liar.
