QEMM and Strike Commander on my P2 66mhz (turbo button engaged ofcourse..) - now that brings back sordid memories, but not as much as the above and Wing Commander 2 -> First a few days struggling to get the darn floppies to work without CRC error using ARJ, then the memory problem and QEMM being the culprit.

I tend to like Asus, Gigabyte and Abit (but as mentioned, in the hay days before they were bought over) in that order. Asus to me gives a good package and they're quite innovative.

It's telling that Windows 95 was seen as an improvement. QEMM had been an esential tool at the place I was working at the time. Trying to get Win3.11 loaded with the DecNET stack, Trumpet Winsock and a couple of TSR's that they used really was akin to playing Jenga wearing boxing gloves.
