Ok its at test 6 and temps have hit 59/59/55/55. No way in hell this is gonna get 3.0.

Also, I havnt exactly mentioned how ive been secuting the heat sink. Im using the Crossbow backplate screw kit of course. What im doing is putting the HS up on the CPU, and screwing in the screws about halfway in diagnials. So top right first, then bottom left, top left, bottom right, and I go in that motion until they are fully tightened one after another. And im screwing them in midly, I go until the screw stops with the preasure im applying, I havnt used anymore force.

Yup, thats how it is done.

Maybe its just flawed? I suppose it has to happen?

Ok Lup, im at 3.0ghz right now with all that **** disabled. And right now at idle temps are very good, or should I say better than they were before the BIOS update. Im idling right now at 43/43/38/40, CPUz has the voltage still steady at 1.280. here I go with prime.....wish me luck

Voltage is holding like a mf'in champ, after the OC and running Prime its still holding at 1.280, temps are 63/63/59/59 and appeared to have peaked there, they go down to 62 every now and then, back and forth. I can live with this, very stable so far.

Keep it running for 12 hours (most people recommend 8hrs, but I have seen a core crap out in 9 hours).

I am just glad it helped. Though your temps are still high for 3.0 Ghz.

You can Test up to 70c, so you can get a lil more. Prolly 3.2 Ghz, and reach that 70c core temps. No big deal for a few tests.

Once you reach 70c, that's where you wanna max out at, and you'll prolly rarely see over 60c from the cores during real junk.

Turned the PC on this morning before work (was like 70f in the room) and temps were idling at 36/36/32/31 after about 10-15 minutes of standard usage. Maybe this OCZ Freeze settled in overnight, and temps were higher last night due to the LOAD of restarts and benches.
