I'm sorry, did I hurt AMD's feelings? Awwww, poor AMD!

If it makes you happy, go buy a sub-standard processor and run some artificial memory bandwidth benchmarks.

lol wtf are you talking about? I'm talking about budget quad core, and you talking about hurting AMDs feelings? Can I have some of the crack you're smoking?

Sorry my bad, logged in and looked at threads I'd participated in thing instead of going to the forum, and saw that it had a newer reply on it than the last time.

TC ran out of facts. That's the only thing that explains his behavior nowadays. He's also nothing without fanboys who don't acknowledge that Phenom's only a budget CPU compared to Penryn (it does okay vs. the Q6600 at stock). When Thunderman left, TC just went to pieces.

We acknowledge that Phenom won't be overclockable until Deneb at the very least. We acknowledge that enthusiasts who overclock a new CPU every year get the benchies, but it doesn't do any good. Enthusiasts like that need someone to look down upon, and that's the majority of us who are enthusiastic about what we can build in our budget range.

Me, I'm getting a 20" LCD this Friday and then in May, I'll go Phenom 9750 with a Crossfire board. Since Deneb will have both AM2+ and AM3 capabilities, it will be an easy upgrade. Pity those poor enthusiasts who need to have the absolute best. They'll have to spring for a new motherboard when Nehalem arrives, if they don't already have to for Wolfie or Penryn.

Me, I'd rather put the difference between a Deneb and a Nehalem upgrade cost next year into another GPU for CrossfireX.
