zpyrd- thanks - you can get them cheaper elsewhere in the US if you search.

Since I haven't found the Q9550 anywhere but can find the x3360, has anyone actually tested the x3360 with the GA-X48T-DQ6?

Any motherboard that supports the quad core 9550 will support the xeon 3360.

You should still upgrade your bios

Odd, you must have a DDR3 motherboard. New tech is always buggy like that.

Moose - thanks so much for posting!!!!!   I've been trying to find out about the GA-X48T-DQ6 and the x3360 but so far you seem to be the only person who has tested the combo.

I figure I'll get just some average memory - KVR1066D3N7K2/2G

Any problems going into sleep mode?
Any other issues?

Thanks again for the info!

No problems in sleep mode, but with the f4 bios I can't get my memory to run at 1600mhz so I updated the bios to a beta bios F5h and I'll try to set the right speed sunday for the memory.

I hate titty tats.
