WOW... You are really reaching.

The two statements you have typed are basically equivalent. One is claiming a 10-30% improvement in an unknown amount of benchmarks... the next statement is being much more specific and specifying 5% of the benchmarks. (I know you are probably attempting to claim that I said it would make a difference in ALL benchmarks... but that is not what I said so that path would prove fruitless.)

Basically equivalent? Oh I was not aware the statement of "always achieve 10%~30% improvement" is the same as "occasionally achieve 10%~30%, where the majority of the time is less than 5%".

AND Since I don't need any more proof... please explain why I would need to run any benchmarks at this time? (Or were you preparing to use that line of questions as some kind of attempt at Reductio Ad absurdum?)

Yeh I guess you don't need any more proof to show that you made numbers up, and refused to be corrected.

Do you have a personal reason for attempting to drag this out any longer? You still feel the need to continue. Why?

Actually yes. I don't want people reading this forum to start thinking that by running DDR2-1066, they're guaranteed a 10~30% improvement in performance, always.

Well then we are IN LUCK because I never claimed 10%-30% in EVERY benchmark. (And I have never used the words "always achieve".)

I claimed that using the correct memory can result in increases of 10%-30%.

There is a minor difference between both statements.

But I strongly suspect you already knew that... you just wanted to continue to argue over things that are not worth arguing about. (I don't know why? Could it be a tactic to divert attention from the real issue? The fact remains that many reviews and reviewers use either less than optimal ram OR they often don't bother configuring it correctly.)

I don't need any MORE proof than what is already available. Period. End of story. QED. None needed. Nada. Zilch. Finis.

(And since your first premise was incorrect... your last sentence has no relevance.)

Since I have corrected your misconceptions... there really is no reason to continue discussing this subject. Although somehow I'm sure you'll feel the need.
