Last message on previous page: I have to say, although I got the P6T, I seriously considered the EVGA board. I love EVGA in general, and I try to buy their products (as much as anything because of the support - they certainly are among the best in that respect). I did eventually settle on the Asus though - I just like the layout a bit better.

I got it all together. Pics tomorrow. 3.6 is the sweet spot on stock cooler. 3.8 is hot, and 4.0 gets hot enough to shut it down. I will get a after market cooler next week I hope.
Really? I think the EVGA board looks disgustingly hideous. They didnt get rid of that overcompensating Nvidia 700i NB cooler, and that.....tower...thing on the MOSFETS is just too much. I foresee many coolers not being able to fit on that board. And that reflective sticker on the SB makes it look cheap.
Not to mention its just WAY to Nvidia-ish, and EVGA literally refuses to show/acknowledge Crossfire support. I know they are 100% Nvidia all the way, but just simply refusing to acknowledge support for something when its there is the highest point of favoritism/corporate fanboism. Sell a product right if you are going to sell it.
Even the P6T looks a little absurd will all those goofy lines/streaks all over the SB, NB and mosfets. If I make the switch to i7 these current boards wont be on my list lol.

Mine's together too - I haven't pushed it past stock yet though. Even at stock, it is absolutely FLYING though. Cinebench 64 bit is scoring around 19,500, and I'm downloading 3dmark06 right now. It runs a bit toasty - around 60C at stock turbo mode (3.35 GHz or so), but I'm not too worried yet.
EDIT: It seems to be running pretty well at 3.84GHz as well (1.28V), and I just managed a score of 21,892 in Cinebench.

That's odd - it seems to have just lost my reply...
I'm not sure about fugger - all I know is that the current fastest listed system has a core 2 quad at 4500MHz, and in a few spots, I definitely beat it.
Oh, and the main place I lose is in HDD speed, which certainly isn't bad on my system:
