The sata plug, there should be 2 connections coming off the hard drive. One should go to the motherboard, the other 2 the power supply. If you don't have a plug that fits into the hard drive from your power supply you will need an adapter. Which should be cheap.

Ok hooked up those parts... does it matter which you plug sata wise into the motherboard? It is loading windows atm so thats good.

Some things I dont feel comfortable with is the heatsink... very confusing on how to put it in.. well making it fit cause I dont want to force it in the holes/dont know if it has to go a specific way. Like I said the manuals really do not help me :)

Other thing is a have like a tri plug named usb ac97 and something else... I have no idea where to put those. And somehow forgot to plug in the rear fan.

Does seem kinda hard especially if you want it clean on the inside :) atleast for a first timer.

But thx some much for all yalls help

AC97, recheck your manual, that should be for your sound. May hook up to your front audio panel. Maybe google around for a guide about how to put on the intel heatsinks. One thing I like about amd's heatsinks, you just latch the heatsink over 2 tabs, then it has a little hand lever and you just pull that downward until it pulls tight.

the cables are coming from inside the case from the top front, like from the front USB connectors (but they have no prongs on them)

Yea the heatsink seemed like a pain in the butt and the manual is HORRIBLE atleast for me lol. But it seems stable.

Some reason the rear fan is not working but I will just have to try a different connector coming from the PSU.

Question - is there a program I can download that will show the temperature inside the case/of the processor?

All in all it was probably easier than I thought it would be. Biggest headache was trying to get the PSU to fit (I was so mad and was about to purchase a diff psu cause i thought it didnt fit)
