I'm routing wires from the bottom of the Mp40's clip into the chassis, made a 7/8" hole and capped it with a 22mm - 16mm reducer
22mm to 16mm reducer for vandal switches (made for performance-pcs)
Wolfenstein project update, laying out mural of this screen shot from Wolfenstein on right side panel
while Brad rawks out the panel, I'm finishing the Mp40 handle. I'm skipping the gauge idea so we can get this project done...lol
Looking awesome!
Thank you!
more progress on the airbrushing
Very Nice! Mind linking to a larger pic of that Tesla schematic? Wish ATI would have given you a 5870
and not a 4890.

I wish I had a bigger picture, it was a screen shot from ign, sorry! The background glows! Brad applied House of Kolor's "Kosmic Glo" Glow In The Dark Green, technical date sheet
Grey "weathered" F/X airbrushed onto portions the Mp40 handle and bolts surrounding the window panel
top I/O plate
More progress on the Wolfenstein side panel
The last details are sourcing an HD (emailed Nate on that) Optical drive, Monitor which I should have and Brad wants to paint the Razer Lycosa KB. Then we can install her guts and Wolfenstein game. Yes, I've held out on playing it.
Nice! Well done.

Good luck with that. Painting a KB is just PITA (done it a few times). HOWEVER, if you can get a white (or close to it) you can easily do this:

Indeed. thanks for the link, we may just do the wrist pad
and the Panel is finished.
I've installed one of the 120mm "Black Gear" Fan Grills on the NZXT 1200W PSU for the Wolfenstein PC, we recorded a guide to making rust effects for PC & Case Modding while E.E.L. Ambiense was at the workshop
LG DVD drive painted Matte Black
4010 3M adhesive tape, Grey
Tiny rubber foot I found in the junk drawer. No idea what it was from
Sanding the optical drive switch, Foamy may tell me this was unneccessary..lol
08061 trim and emblem adhesive by 3M, compliments of Foamy!
Mnpctech sells the Clear version of the Scotch brand Heavy Duty clear tape #4010 used for mounting the 5.25 face plate on the drive
The HD is enroute! so we can install the system finally...hehe. We should have another update soon!
I do not know how i did not see this yet, but WOW. nice work.
Thank you for commenting nukemaster!

Nate started the system install Sunday afternoon. The Thermalright Ultra 120 Extreme Revision A HSF clears the chassis.
250mm fan draws out the warm air from the Ultra 120 Extreme Revision A
Thermalright has since updated the mounting bracket to turn the HSF 90 degrees and avoid blocking DDR in first two slots
We'll be using these new PC Cable management clamps

Nate and I agreed top of Heat sink fins looks naked, it needs something... More on that later
We'll be painting the 5.1 surround sound headset we received from Psyko Audio with matching camo
cool, looking forward to pics of that as well.
Thank you for watching Nuke!
The dissection of a Psyko Audio Headset, before prepped for Camo paint
The padded ear cup pads can be popped off with their pivoting bases (grab around the top of the plastic ring and pull it out).
4 screws total, 2 on each side fasten on outter Silver trim piece
4, screw locations to be removed.
The clear cup cover is easily removed, once the outter trim piece is removed.
The clear cover pops off (push a small flat head screw driver into the gaps to pry off).
The pads are peeled off. I used a small flat head screw driver to pry up the edge first.
You can peel off the top 5 pads to reveal 5 screws holding on the top Silver cover.
5x 30mm diam. 32 ohm. speakers project sound into your skull
It was the only available size NZXT could sponsor us with
I agree! After the pads are removed, the headset is re-assembled before being masked off before camo paint job. It's easier to apply the camo stencils when it's all assembled without the pads
ABSOLUTELY SICK!! LOVE IT!!
sweet, very nice paint job !!
any plans to slap in a couple of 5870's in the future?
Thanks sparky!
Sure Ovr, If you know anyone that will sponsor us with a pair
For tidying up the PSU cables, I'm using the small size PC Cable Clamps, they hold approximately 1" bundle

This is seriously sick.
mind = blown
MonsterMawd, How good do those headphones sound? good bass/mid/highs?
The design is interesting.
Once this rig is runnin, I can try them out and let you know
Brad sent me progress on the Camo paint on the Pysko Audio head phones. These will look awesome!

Very nice...... What's the ETA on the final product?
Psyko headphones? still taking pre-orders here

nice case. I wish I had time on my hands to do somthing like that.

Thank you, this project has been going on between other commitments
I think you should enter your case in some sort of contest. Maybe you could be a winner.

Thank you! Lots of things have happened between updating this project, first off, a big Congrats to Nate! (CustomPCMax) the happy father of twins, a boy and girl!
I'm picking up the camouflage Psyko Audio headset from Brad today. Yippee!
Next up for the german wwII camo paint, this 15" HD/TV LCD, small, but it's all I have available.. Hey, add a handle and it's a nice mate to our panzerbox. I'll have to look into the handle option.
Got them assembled yesterday just in time to record tmb podcast yesterday. Will hopefully get try them during some game play tonight
sweet phones.... would be nice to see how they perform....
Damn.....that is sweet!!!
Wish I could do that....
Thanks guys! If you followed my District-9 project, I did some fake bullet holes in the window. It only seemed natural that this PC get the same treatment..lol
Using 3/8 drill bit.
To create spiderweb cracks, I etched the surface of the window with a Dremel and these engraving bits
I heard back from James at PsykoAudio, he suggested turning off the cmss settings in the X-fi software, and turn on EAX. I will check into these setting later today.
Nice details on those bullet holes, MM.
Thank you Kithzaru, it was a lot of fun to create those
