Last message on previous page: @awesome_name That is a solid build but not so solid PSU...
Rosewill for such a build is a bad option...
Even the Corsair 750TX would have been such a good option...
Hey guys! Yet another update! But the best update!
I have all of the parts ordered! I went ahead and went x58 because I had a little extra cash and wanted the x16 lanes as well as 6-core cpus coming!
As for the GPU i went with the DX11 XFX 5770 1GB. I do not need to play any games maxed right now. I am waiting for Bioshock 2, Mass Effect 2 and a few others. This will allow me to CF when the time comes and I will then have more then enough GPU power.
The build is almost done! I almost got everything installed before I left for work today. When I get home I will finish it up and post pictures. It turned out just how I wanted it to!

Hey guys! Project Dark Knight turned out great! I am took some pictures to share the glory. It is running really nice and the temp is at a constant 25 degrees C. In the pictures, don't mind the desk because it is temporary until the full oak desk my dad and I are building is completed. I just wanted to thank everyone that put there input in on the build.
Final Specs:
i7 920 DO
EVGA x58
Mushkin 6GB 7-7-7-20
XFX 5770 1GB
Corsair 750hx
2x Samsung 500GB F3
Dark Knight CPU Cooler
Silverstone FT01-BW
Looks great, congrats on a successful build. I especially like how it looks in the dark; Something about that picture reminds me of Star Wars and Darth Vader in particular. Then I made another connection. In picture #9 (of the front of the case) you can clearly see the symbol of the Empire in the lower half.
Haha I am glad you like it! I am going to be adding cold cathodes and overclocking it pretty soon. 3.5 seems like it would be a good, stable overclock to run 24/7. Thanks for the input and yes as you said "the force is strong with this one...."
I will post updated pictures once my dad and I finish the desk, but for now enjoy the pics of the rig!

Thanks! I hate a messy case! Haha I think my next project could be to possibly sleeve all the cables so they are all black. Thats a project for winter break though. haha
