Priority for the Hardware section is probably the A64 overclocking guide which needs to go and get replaced by a Phenom/Athlon II overclocking guide. Also, a new folding sticky seemed to be requested. The old one no longer displayed new posts without going to the reply page and many of the links from the OP didn't work any more.

Speaking of stickies... I know a few people has requested Proximon's thread on how to apply thermal paste to the Xigmatek become a sticky in the cooler section. Can you check on that and see if you can make that happen?

I don't want to diminish anyone, but Tecmo34 is an example what I believe is wrong with the point scale the way it is: he has been a member since Jan. 2009, has 311 posts and 503 pts while I have been around since 2000 (yet not always as active), have 1784 posts, but only 583 points ....

Ok I agree that there are some isssues with the point system ..... BUT, let me say one thingy here. I dont believe it should take YEARS to attain any type of rank...... I might have stayed in the military if I wanted that that crap..... Anyway if a person is capable of making the posts that are required to advance on this forum then so be it. If you believe that you should be in another class, get to posting some MORE threads or BEST answers. If not, quit complaining. The system is here now and it seems it is going to remain as such. Just abide by the new ranking system and IF YOU ARE GOOD ENOUGH youll advance faster than the guys that havent been around very long.. If you are not, YOU will get LEFT behind!!!!!! While sad as it is, some of us have nothing better to do but comment and reply here. AND probably some are just OCD and will do it no matter what.

I consider myself chief comedian at THG and make it a point to try to make people laugh as often as possible ... particularly when a flame war is brewing.

Plus I post a lot up the top and try to help out the doughnuts with their problems.

Many of your posters who have over 1000 posts should be considered regulars ... If they have posted 1 times in the last month then surely they are.

I also love the French and can continue with any number of positive comments in that regard.

Yup, but when attributing points for posts made prior to their new point system, they made each post count for ~0.25 pt, 1/16th of what they are worth now.

True, when this thread started, I was a "wannabe" and now I'm ~640 pts and I do not post THAT much.
