ATI launches X1900GT graphics processor

ATI today announced availability of the Radeon X1900GT graphics processor, which is positioned at the higher end of the manufacturer's mainstream graphics chip portfolio. The GPU comes with 256 MB of GDDR3 memory and a core clock of 575 MHz. The memory is clocked at 600 MHz. According to ATI, X1900GT cards can be paired with X1900 Crossfire cards into a dual-graphics configuration.
X1900GT-based cards are expected to carry a suggested retail price of $300.
