AU Optotronics develops double sided OLED

AU Optronics, a major supplier of panels for TFT monitors, has announced that its laboratories are developing a Double Sided Active Matrix OLED. The panel is capable of displaying two totally independent images, one image on each side. With a luminance of 200 nits, the panel is intended mainly for the mobile-telephony market, in sizes up to two inches.
