Yes! Dungeon Siege 3 Demo Coming Soon
Here in the States, the Dungeon Siege 3 demo will land on the Xbox 360 first, followed by a simultaneous release on the PlayStation Network (hopefully) and Steam.
Last Friday, Square Enix silently slipped the Dungeon Siege 3 demo launch date into its newsletter, revealing that the trial will arrive on the Xbox 360 console first (surprise!) on May 31, and then hit the PlayStation Network (PS3) and Valve's Steam service (Windows PC) on June 7. Xbox gamers will likely need the subscription-based Gold service in order to access the exclusive demo.
For fans over in Europe, the demo won't be available for the consoles until June 22, two weeks after PC gamers get their fill from Steam on June 7. The full version of Dungeon Siege 3 will officially arrive in your hands first on June 17 followed by the North American release on June 21. The game was originally slated for a May release, but saw a slight setback.
"Although the final polish phase has demanded a bit more time than originally planned, we want to assure fans and followers that the additional effort will allow us to deliver an action-RPG worthy of its rich heritage, "said Mike Fischer, president and CEO of Square Enix, Inc.
As for the PC system requirements, Square Enix and Obsidian Entertainment provided the minimum and recommended specs, as seen below:

In Dungeon Siege III, players assume the role of one of four heroes, fighting for the sake of their fallen comrades to restore the land of Ehb. Conflict is constant in this action-RPG and decisions have lasting consequences, allowing players to alter the storyline.
Choose to battle along with a companion or fight for honor with up to three friends via online co-op play. DUNGEON SIEGE III allows for two players to experience the story from start to finish in local co-op mode. Thanks to the robust AI, DUNGEON SIEGE III's co-op multiplayer mode allows players to seamlessly drop in and out of battle without interrupting the action or impacting the campaign.

On se ny saatana kumma ku näitä mun kommentteja ei hyväksytä. Mikäköhän siinäkin saatana on. Eikö nää perkeleet ymmärrä muka suomea.
whether it will be released on the PC version also ... ?
i have HD 4850 Oc can play this version..?

Last time I checked, the 4850 was more advanced than a 3870.
I sure hope they have the dynamic leveling system that the first two dungeon siege games had. i don't want 4 cookie cutter characters.
Kinda surprised there's so few comments. I will be getting this... somehow, someway, and I will be playing it.
Minimum specs are rather high for an RPG, but I guess it's a good thing in some ways.
This is on my short list too. I'll definitely check out the demo. I didn't find Dungeon Siege particularly replayable, so I hope that has been addressed.
The relatively high requirements lead me to hope it isn't simply a console port, and that the PC version will look and feel notably better.
Why PC first in europe and consoles first in US. I suppose there are more PC games in europe... perhaps they are trying to maximize exposure? Dungeon siege was a pc only title and I don't see the masses rushing to get DSIII but what do I know
Another consolified game, that PC will have some port version of it? Meh...

Yet you will pirate it just for your collection that you'll never install.
On the one hand, appreciated because can play it on the PS3. On the other hand, I'm FORCED to get it for the PS3, because it will not look any better on my PC. Consoles holding back PC gaming... AGAIN.
How sad is it for me that my ATi 3870 is now considered a "minimum" spec...
Looking forward to the game hitting the shelves. Though I am a little disappointed to hear it'll be on consoles too... Hopefully this doesn't cause the graphics to be dumbed down. I'm feeling good about the minimum/recommended specs though. Either way this game will definitely be on my PC when it comes out.
The lack of comments on this page proves my point. In a PC enthusiast site an announcement of a demo for a previously exclusive PC game just how small the following is for this game. I doubt it will be anymore on consoles.

Which is probably why they listed the 3870, and not the 4850, as the minimum system requirement?
E: My bad, the comment above yours was auto-hidden due to downrating, and it wasn't immediately clear you were responding to someone else's post.
Too bad I can't play it on my current setup.
Good to know that the rumors are true.
DX 9 , FU Crapbox 360 for holding back PC games for years.

+1 Sadly true!
Loved the first DS but the second one was rubbish. I'm keeping my fingers crossed!
