Adobe Systems will introduce the public beta of Digital Editions today, said to be a rich internet application built from the ground up for digital publishing.
The application features native support for Adobe's Portable Document Format (PDF) and an XHTML-based reflow-centric publication format. It also supports Flash SWF, which the company said will enable new levels of interactivity and rich media delivery.
