Following the announcement of the One Touch Idol X, Alcatel has announced a pair of One Touch Snap smartphones.
The Alcatel One Touch Snap smartphones includes the One Touch Snap and One Touch Snap LTE. Both support WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4 and quad-band GSM (850/900/1,800/1,900).
The Alcatel One Touch Snap has a 4.5-inch display with qHD resolution and is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor. It runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, with the device offering 4 GB of internal storage accompanied by a rear 8-megapixel camera and a front-facing 1.3-megapixel snapper.
Alcatel's One Touch Snap LTE runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and houses a larger 4.65-inch screen, but it has a lower resolution (480 x 854 pixels). Other features consist of a 2-megapixel camera and a 2,200 mAh battery. It's powered by a 1.4 GHz dual-core Snapdragon CPU.
The One Touch Snap is due to launch in April, while the LTE variant is scheduled for a July release in Europe. Worldwide availability and pricing details have yet to be revealed.

sacre I'm going to try commenting about the article by only reading the headline.Reply
Man, they look amazing! One touch? That isn't much at all! My phone requires multiple touches to get things done. I really hope this company pushes out more of these 1 touch phones and creates more competition! But I don't think the "Snap" is necessary. I hope we can remove that when we purchase it. -
