Chinese Scientists Claim to Have UFO Footage

Next news
2:51 PM - September 8, 2009 by Jane McEntegart

Solar eclipses are amazing to see by themselves, but Chinese scientists who recently witnessed one are saying they saw something even more amazing: a UFO.

The Daily Mail today reports that Chinese scientists at the Purple Mountain Observatory in Nanjing claim to have recorded 40 minutes of clear UFO footage while observing total solar eclipse on July 22.

The Mail reports that the scientists were not the only ones to see the unidentified flying object in the skies over Deqing in Guandong Province. Dozens of students are said to have also observed and photographed the object.

Purple Mountain Observatory says it's "organizing the manpower to deal with the data" and that it will take one year to come up with any results.

From the Mail:

'Currently manpower is being organised to deal with this data, complete the data analysis and reveal the scientific results. This will take at least one year's time to finalised'

Purple Mountain Observatory, Chinese Academy of Sciences Fellow Ji Hai-sheng said at present it is impossible to speculate what the unidentified object is.

'However research has started.'

Why are such pictures never in focus? It is some sort of unwritten rule that any photographic evidence of something considered to be unproven must be grainy, blurry, and barely in frame?

Someone tossed a freesbee and they're saying thats an ufo. Yeah, right... I suppose the aliens helped them improve their fake Ipods and Iphones?

Same question I always ask. Why are ufo and ghost pictures always some blurry junk that could be anything? Heck, that blurry thing could be a smudge mark from a fat reporter eating a chocolate bar. Sheesh.

it doesn't even look like anything.. its just black.. like a hole in the sky or just a smodge on the print. doesn't look too convincing to be a ufo.........

Perhaps it was a top secret Chinese test craft to which they deny any knowledge. Or it could be a North Korean ICBM reject that got turned around.

Common guys in the Photoshop era you can do better than the old fly on the lenses trick.

....why do you think that a camera used for observing the solar eclipse should be able to focus on something so much closer than moon?...haha you're a JOKER :-)

Of course it's a UFO, an "Unidentified Flying Object." Doesn't mean it's aliens, lol.

Maybe UFO's and Bigfoot are blurry and the camera's are actually getting great footage!?
Or of course it could be the usual hoax....

It's well known that alien visitors posses the technology necessary to blur our inferior earth-based optics technology. UFOs are always blurry to cast doubt upon the validity and accuracy of any photos taken. Big-Foot is blurred in the same way, as its well known Big Foot is an intergalactic spy deployed here on earth.

Don't you people read the news anymore? Sheesh.

If they had cleaned that bug off the CMOS sensor they would realize they have a photo of blue sky - just left of the actual UFO.

LoL, I thought Tom's readers are smarter than this. I suppose they "photoshoped" UFO's onto the brick walls in that 4th century painting of Jesus in that old monastery.

I think it is very possible if not true we have UFOS among us.. The universe goes on forever so why not have more than just us.. I have look into Bob Lazars theory on the propulsion system for a anti gravity reactor and it made sense.. If you can't fathom this eat some lsd and smoke a huge joint... Also Jellico it may be a digital zoom the pic was shot with that would explain the blurry effect...

Is it just me, or is that image anything but, "clear?"

Why is it blurry? It was recorded "while observing total solar eclipse". Focus was on the Sun and it was discovered while reviewing the footage :-)
