Cougar Releases Archon Gaming Case
Cougar has announced a new enclosure, one with a bright orange interior and sleek exterior design.
Cougar is releasing a new chassis, the Archon. This chassis is aimed to attract gamers and enthusiasts with both its styling and performance. Its exterior features a grill mesh front panel as well as a side panel, which is half meshed and half acrylic. The interior of the case is a bright orange to match the company's color scheme.
The case itself features room for up to ATX size motherboards and has seven expansion slots. Up to three 3.5" drives, three 2.5" drives, and two 5.25" bays for either optical drives or water cooling reservoirs are supported. Graphics cards can be up to 310 mm long, and CPU coolers up to 165 mm tall. The standard case has one 120 mm fan pre-installed at the rear exhaust, but it features room for another four 120 mm fans, two at the front and two along the side for a total of five fans. Up front users will find a dust filter behind the front panel.
Front I/O connectivity is taken care of by a single USB 3.0 port, a USB 2.0 port, as well as HD audio ports, a power button and a reset switch.
The company gave no word on availability or pricing.

bigshootr8 I really like the colors black and orange its very nice. Kind of reminds me though of a fractal case with a bit more dating nature to it.Reply -
EzioAs Not bad, 3x3.5" and 3x3.5" is a nice combination/compromise. Not only does the majority of people aren't putting more than two 3.5" drive, the smaller 2.5" drive cage also allows more room for longer video cards. Another good thing is lesser 5.25" drive bays. I personally think most cases at this point in time should have either 1 or 2 5.25" drive bays. The front fan filters and the exterior looks are pretty good as well. The bright interior and the kinda pointless window is a bit of a let down though...Reply -

bigshootr8 insanely good budget case in my opinion. And the orange and black is a good look with motherboards like gigabytes up7 line.Reply -
