ELSA Introduces GeForce GTX 770 SAC Edition
ELSA has announced its silent GTX 770 graphics card.
ELSA has officially announced its GeForce GTX 770 SAC. The SAC naming stands for Silent Air Cooling, and the card goes by the model number GD770-2GERX.
The card has a custom PCB as well as custom cooling. The unit features a core clock speed of 1046 MHz, with a lower factory boost clock at 1070 MHz. The memory remains clocked at 7.0 GHz, sporting 2 GB of GDDR5 memory. Power is drawn from a combination of a 6-pin and an 8-pin PCIe connector. External connectivity is managed by two DVI ports, an HDMI port, and lastly a DisplayPort port.
The GTX 770 SAC's cooler appears to be of Inno3D design. It employs a number of heat pipes which make direct contact with the GPU surface for better heat transfer. The heat is then brought to an aluminum fin array, which is cooled by two 80 mm fans.
There was no word on the card's availability, though the card is expected to be priced around the same level as reference GTX 770 cards.

My thought exactly, other than the lack of vRAM on a few games my GTX570 maxes out most games out there just fine (or at least the ones I am interested in playing). What I really want is a 4K monitor, once I have that then I will absolutely need an upgrade. But I am not willing to pay more than $1000 for a monitor, so by the time 4K drops down to that I am hoping a mid-high end $3-400 card will be able to push it pretty well.
