Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Misses Launch on Euro PS3
European PSN players will have to wait a little longer for Counter-Strike: GO.
While U.S. Counter-Strike fans on PS3, Xbox 360, and PC are busy enjoying the official launch of Global Offensive, European PS3 fans are left in the dust.
Global Offensive, after launching in the U.S. yesterday, was supposed to go live in Europe on the EU PlayStation Store. Unfortunately, it never did.
So far, Sony hasn't answered the reason why Global Offensive has yet to hit the EU PSN, or give out a new release date. This is the comment that the company released in regards to the issue: "Unfortunately Counter-Strike has not been made available on the European PlayStation store today, and we apologise to those of you who were looking forward to playing it. We hope to resolve this issue as quickly as possible, and will let you know if the situation changes."
The possible alternative for EU PS3 players is to maybe get Global Offensive for PC or Xbox 360, where the game has launched. Short of that, it looks like they're stuck waiting at the mercy of Sony EU.
Haven't come across a single cheater so far.
I'm actually surprised how nice and mature the CS community has become. In the old days it was the worst community of any video game ever, but now you can actually have a nice-ish chat while waiting for a round to finish.
Guess the really annoying kids are busy playing CoD or BF3.
the really annoying kids went from 12 years old to 21 years old. They have had time to mature. They are no longer holding the talk button and screaming into it with music going int he background.
Cod is just gay.
I know I'll get schooled, but I just know this game will be fun anyway.
