Ubisoft Officially Releases Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon
Ubisoft has released Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon.
Today, Ubisoft Montreal has officially released Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon. The game is a standalone expansion to Far Cry 3, even though the stories have little connection between them. The game is set in an 80s style VHS environment and the according view of the future from back then. Obviously, it is very retro. Ubisoft describes the game as "an 80s VHS vision of the future where you must get the girl, kill the baddies, and save the world." It takes place on an open-world island, and the player goes through the game under the main protagonist's name "Sgt. Rex Power Colt" who has "Robo Balls."
Previously, it was thought that this game was an April fools joke, but recent events have made it clear even before the official release that it isn't.
The game is currently available and can be purchased at select retailers and online stores for $14.99.

nice one AMD
seriously, i wish they released it back when it was found to be done. at least for the pc... why is it that the pc has to be held back (not graphicly, but the game is done and not released) because of the retarded way the consoles works.
Been playing it for a couple of days and although it's an 80's themed game, it also reminds me of the 90; RoboCop, Rambo, Jurassic Park...
The environment is swimming in neon so I don't think if my eyes could stand a 5 hour straight play. And for gamers who need a walkthrough, here's one for gamers' delight: http://www.cheatmasters.com/blog/2013/05/02/far-cry-3-blood-dragon-guide/
