Open source group the Mozilla Foundation has released the latest incarnation of the Firefox web browser, promising faster browsing and simpler updates.
The new version, Firefox 1.5, moved from beta to final release today. More than 100 million copies of Firefox had been downloaded to date, the foundation?s commercial arm, Mozilla Corporation, said in a statement.
